Korean convenience store finds: Orion chocolate chip cookies

Korea has convenience stores all over.  All over -- even in my little town.  Within two blocks there's a 7-eleven, a GS25 and an Open Pantry.

At some point in September I began trying little munchies and treats from these convenience stores and grocery stores (things that I probably shouldn't be eating in the first place...).  But regardless, I've decided to share my findings and rate a product every week.

First up: Orion chocolate chip cookies

I was surprised to find individually wrapped cookies inside of the box -- so many wrappers!  Soon I would learn that this is very normal here.

They were more moist than I had expected (so not chips ahoy type cookies, which was a good thing), but they were surprisingly quite crumbly.  The crumbly part I could have done without.

Rating: 3/5
Would I buy them again?  Yes.

  1. Have you listened to the Mike and Tom Eat Snacks podcast (sometimes hilarious, sometimes really annoying)? If you are going to seriously get into the snack game they have a convenient Pick a Snack, Eat a Snack, Rate a Snack system that might be worth checking out.

    1. No, I hadn't heard of them! Checked out a podcast -- Wow, I'm amazed at how much they can talk about a snack. I won't have that much to say about these snacks, though, if that wasn't already obvious by my brief post. Thanks for sharing the knowledge, Caroline!
